Celtics-Heat Game 5 Injury Report: Rozier Out, Kornet Probable
Preview of Wednesday's Eastern Conference First Round Playoff Game
Terry Rozier Ruled Out, Luke Kornet Expected to Return
As the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat prepare for Game 5 of their first-round NBA playoff series on Wednesday evening, the injury reports have been released. The Celtics have been relatively fortunate with injuries throughout the regular season, but they will be without Terry Rozier for Game 5.
Rozier has been dealing with an ankle injury and has missed the past two games. He is officially listed as out for Game 5. Luke Kornet, on the other hand, is expected to return to the lineup after missing the last game with a knee injury. Kornet is listed as probable for Game 5.
The Heat have no major injuries to report. All of their key players are expected to be available for Game 5.
The Celtics lead the series 3-1 and can clinch a berth in the second round with a win on Wednesday. The Heat, meanwhile, need to win Game 5 to stay alive in the series. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
