- Cotton balls or pads

- File the top of the acrylic nails to remove the shine.
- Soak cotton balls or pads in acetone and place them on the nails.
- Wrap the nails in aluminum foil and let them sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Use a cuticle pusher or orange stick to gently push the acrylic nails off the natural nails.
- If there is any remaining acrylic, use a nail file to file it off.
