The Padres' winning streak was snapped at five games on Tuesday night as they were shut out by the Rockies 8-0.
Cal Quantrill was superb for the Rockies, allowing just two hits over six scoreless innings. He struck out eight batters and walked none.
The Rockies' offense was led by Charlie Blackmon, who homered and singled, and Brendan Rodgers, who also homered.
